It's time for Sully to sell
|
Don't get me wrong he's done really well for us but now it's clear to see with the new stadium it's a step too far for his lack of ambition and unwillingness to spend proper money on players. Too many gambles and loans are not gonna cut it anymore now that we're supposed to be upgrading as a club. It was fine plodding on at UP with the occasional cup run but with the new stadium we're giving it the biggun about joining the elite yet we're now the laughing stock of the premier league!
Sell up and get someone in who will actually spend some dough on improving the squad!

We could do with investment, but sell up? No.

If we had qualified for the Champions' League we might just have convinced some we were the wave of the future.
I'll be amazed if we convince Payet to stay without improving on last year's performance, which looks as likely as a very unlikely thing

I think some people are deluded about the status the club has outside of the UK. West Ham have no pedigree as a 'top' club and neither are they Europe contenders. You can't just go out there and buy who you want. If anything the last window should show us that we are going to have to build steadily and become regular top 6 before there is much interest from marquee players.
We've spent good money alongside the money we've had to spend on a training ground, shop and new stadium. Not disappointed at all in our signings on paper but they and more importantly the players returning from last year need to up their game. Pretty much every one of them is underperforming.
I want the club to stay with British owners and not become a Asian or Far East plaything. There have been too many take over disasters but everyone assumes we would become the next Chelsea or Man City. It's not going to happen.

spot on mate, he seemed to be overly concerned about having enough midfielders for the extra games, and at the time was clearly still looking at antonio as a right back.

Bilic decision to bulk the squad up was clearly for Europe, which we crashed out of.
In just a month of the transfer window closing it now looks like we made the wrong move there.
I don't blame him, had Antonio stuck away a sitter in Romania we'd have gone through.
In hindsight we'd have been better off signing top quality in goal, central defence, and central midfield...and having a smaller squad.
We'd have probably still crashed out of europe with the injuries we had at the time.

I'd be interested to know who the quoted £43M went on?
Other than the twenty mill that went on Ayew, I struggle to see where the rest went, unless the figure includes Lanzini, loans and wages.
Have we really paid four million to loan Zaza for fourteen games?

Palace bought players that improved their first 11. It's a bit of a master plan because what that enables you to do, is to improve your team on last season. Those 2 fucking club murdering cunts might catch on one day.
Just looking at a few spread betting companies season long predictions, and we're below fucking AFC fucking Bouremouth.
This must be the next level that fucking fat slag kept banging on about.

£43 million? Is that including Lanzini?
Palace spent that on two players. That's the difference, we didn't sign quality, but got quantity in.

"They bought in 12 players and spent £43m on them. "
They spent 4 on the Zaza loan deal.
How did you come to this conclusion that they have spent 43?

They bought in 12 players and spent £43m on them. Most appear to be players Bilic wanted so love or hate them they appear to have done what the fans wanted them to do

It was disclosed that debt reduces the amount they would have to hand over in a sale. Has the actual % every been disclosed? That's from a credible source not Sullivan's BS.
